The establishment of a blood bank in Fateh Jang is another remarkable and meaningful achievement by Governor of Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan. In the past, the absence of a local blood bank led to the loss of precious lives, especially in emergency situations such as accidents and critical illnesses, where timely access to blood is essential.
Patients and their families were often مجبور to travel to Rawalpindi and Islamabad in urgent need of blood, which caused delays and additional hardship. Now, with the blood bank available locally, thousands of people are benefiting from this vital facility.
This initiative is particularly life-saving for children suffering from thalassemia, who require regular blood transfusions. On a daily basis, many such children are being provided with the blood they need, helping them continue their treatment and live healthier lives.
This noble effort is not only a great public service but also a form of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). It stands as a strong example of compassionate leadership and remains one of the significant contributions of the Governor for the people of Fateh Jang.
